So how so yall think Baylor will do in 2007-2008? Unfortunately it looks pretty dismal for them, with trips to TAMU, TCU, and OU almost garranting them 3 losses. While 2 out of 3 of their best shots at getting a conference win are on the road as well at KU and KSU. TTU is probably their next best bet for a win, but with losing their starting corners TTU's pass happy offense will probably throw all over them. The only wins I can really give to them are Rice, Buffalo, and Texas State. Otherwise they are looking for upsets at best for another win. The good thing is Baylor fans are incredibly optimistic, even though most of them leave by the second half. Being from waco i'd like to see Baylor do well but I think it will be awhile before they good a solid team that could get 8 or more wins. Anyways good luck.

Hello, this is the biggest Baylor fan on the planet. Granted we lost many talented seniors, but there is always hope. I do see us winning at least 3 of the 4 non conference games we have, but after our home loss against TCU last year to open the season, I believe Baylor will give it their all up in Fort Worth and have a shot at defeating the Frogs.

Texas A&M is ALWAYS a close game, so we shouldn't automatically say the game is a loss, I expect for us to go in there and play a close game.

I also believe that, even though Baylor only won 4 games last season, the confidence in the players have never been greater after winning a record 3 conference games last season. As a result I believe the Bears will be able to defeat some of the North teams we face and finish with 3-5 conference wins.

All in all, I hope that if Baylor plays their best ball in the games that count the most, they can possibly scratch out enough wins to earn a bowl birth. However, it seems inevitable that the Bears will only be able to muster 3-5 wins this season. I do reamain optimistic though.

Is Kirby Freeman going to be your starting quarterback? If so, I'm sorry to hear that. I love the guy because he gave us his all over the past four years, including a very memorable game for us vs. FSU last year, but the kid just doesn't seem to have it. For your sake, I hope that a change of scenery and heading back home can be the difference. Good luck Bears!
