Assuming the Yankees sign Burnett/CC and re-up Pettitte, the Rays move Price into the rotation, the Jays have their full rotation come back(that was the best in the AL last year)and the Sox move for Peavy who would have the best AL East Rotation?

Sox- Beckett-Peavy-Matsusaka-Lester-Wakefield

Rays-Shields-Price-Garza-Kazmir-Sonnastine

Yankees- Sabathia-Burnett-Wang-Pettitte-Joba

Well, the Red Sox are thrown out because I really do not think they will get Jake Peavy.  It would be nice if they did however.  Also, even if the Rays, Yankees, Red Sox, etc get all of their proposed pitchers it is very hard to actually say what team has the best becuase this would only be paper and we all know how pitchers that asre supposed to be aces can suck at time!

BEckett and his inconsistency. The most inconsistent "ace" I have ever seen....lol

Take out Peavy and insert Lowe. But if the Yankees land CC and Burnett with a rotation of CC,Wang,Burnett,Joba and Hughes/Pettitte is pretty nasty.

Sox could have a rotation of Beckett,Lester,Dice-K,Lowe and Wakefield/Buchholtz with is also nasty but the Yankees would have the slite edge.

Go Red Sox!
