Don't Do It Favre!

Brett Favre retired and now there are rumors that he wants to make a come back. I think it will be a mistake for Brett Favre to come back to the Green Bay Packers. It would be unfair to his team mates and Aaron Rogers. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind a Favre comeback but not to the Packers. Joe Montana went to the Chiefs why not Favre go else where? It would not tarnish his legacy just as it didn't tarnish Montana's legacy. At the sametime if he wanted to come back the fans, owners, players, coaches.. everyone owes it to Brett Favre to allow him to come back not the other way around. He's done alot for not only the sport but the Green Bay Packers.

Don't Do It Favre!

Brett is now denying that he said that he is thinking about coming back.  I said when he retired that I would believe it after the season started and I'll stand by that.  It was way too early, after the season, for Brett to announce his retirement, IMO.  Reason,  he just had subpurb year, the team appeared to be gelling and he looked liked he was having fun again.  I think he got banged up the last couple of weeks and was tired and sore when he made the announcement and now that he has had a chance to rest and heal he is ready to go again.  What is he 38?  He can still play another couple of years if he wanted too.

So will he come back.  I think so.  And sorry DD but if he does it will be for Green Bay.
