Even though this year's tourney is still playing out, i want to venture forward and predict next year's field of 65.
So day by day now, i will reveal conference by conference bids. Underlined teams are my predicted conference champs. Bolded teams are my 'in" teams.

Possibles: Florida State, Virginia

America East (1)

Atlantic 10 (1)

Most Likely: Xavier
Possibles: Temple, Richmond

Atlantic Sun (1)

Conference Champ: Belmont

Big South (1)

Conference Champ: UNC-Asheville

BIg Twelve (5)

Most Likely: Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma

2009 Tournament

and you guys are nc fans, so you're biased.  you don't look at facts, wake has the best class incoming. and i'm not predicting regular season championship, i'm predicting conference tourney. so its not just bland stuff.

2009 Tournament

Nope - not an NC fan.  Thanks for playing.

The word you might have wanted to use is amateurISH.

As in, your attempt to insult me was amateurish.

Here is a link, so you can expand your knowledge and shrink the ego :

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/amateurish

Here are "the facts":
Wake might not be losing anyone... but that doesn't matter, given that the team they have was middling, at best, in the ACC this year.  Middling, as in, under .500.  They closed the season by losing 5 of their last 6 games, including a 22 point romp by a team full of freshmen who actually DID improve over the course of the season.  They got doinked by almost 40 at Boston College - you know, the CELLAR DWELLAR of this years ACC.

Do you honestly think that the incoming class of 2008, which has been ranked by a number of experts as the WORST incoming class of freshman in years, is going to life up the middlin Deacons past the already solid Tar Heels, Blue Devils, or even the Hokies?

Please.

So the Deacons get 3 of the top 50 prospects.  So what?  Unfortunately for your sad theory is that UNC gets 2 of them as well, and two of their picks are ranked in the top 20... not so for Wake.  So UNC is loading more talent to an already talent-laden team.  Are you starting to get the picture or do I need to draw it for you?

And next time, refrain from the 8th grade language, okay?
