Lilman_Bigskill's Top 15

Heading into Monday, it feels time for some new rankings.  So, here they are.

1. North Carolina (27-2) -- Tar Heels get their due respect, especially after withstanding a 46 point effort from BC's Rice to roll to a good road victory.

2. Tennessee Vols (26-3) -- Playing things close this past week, the Vols looked a little shaky, but they stay high in these rankings.

3. UCLA Bruins (26-3) -- Kevin Love should get some consideration for FOTY and possibly POTY, he should win Pac-10 POTY, at least.

4. Memphis Tigers (28-1) -- Tigers can only move up in rank before the tourney, because they won't lose again.

5. Kansas Jayhawks (26-3) -- They completely suffocated K-State in their revenge game.

6. Texas Longhorns (24-5) -- If they had just won at TTU, they would be #1, and all but champs of the Big 12.  But now, Texas has some meat left on their bone.

7. Duke Blue Devils (25-3) -- Duke is definitely picking it up after that mid-season hiccup.  It all comes down to their game with UNC on Saturday.

8.  Stanford Cardinal (24-4) -- The Cardinal swept the Washington schools this past week

9. Xavier Musketeers (25-4) -- I can't remember when this team last lost.  Last year, maybe?

10. Louisville Cardinals (24-6) -- The Cardinals are streaking, and everyone should be watching.  Last game of the reg. season at Georgetown on Saturday.  Statement game, anyone?

11. Georgetown Hoyas (24-4) -- Hoyas squeaked by again with a late officiating blunder.  Those bastards.

12. Wisconsin (24-4) -- The Badgers look like an obvious Big Ten Champ

13. Connecticut Huskies (23-6) -- These guys have won 12 of 13 and are making a big push in the Big East Conference

14. Clemson Tigers (21-7) -- The Tigers are so overlooked being in the same conference as UNC and Duke, but they are rattling off wins and showing they are a possible top 4 seed.

15. Purdue Boilermakers (23-6) -- The Boilermakers will travel to those two mediocre football schools this week. Michigan and Ohio State, for you fools.

That's enough for now.  Right outside of these rankings are Notre Dame, Butler, Pittsburgh, Indiana, and Vanderbilt

Upset call for this week: Florida over Tennessee

Thanks, man.  Yeah the UConn ranking is tough, cause U of L and G-Town are great teams.  Let's see what they will do in the Big E Tourney
