Predicting the Field of 65

Okay, so in my March Madness Bracket Playout, i predicted what, as of right now, what I am going to see in the tournament.  Sure, it was bold, i had VCU in the Elite Eight, Xavier in the Title Game.  Well, that won't change much in my mind; I see those two teams as the biggest sleepers.  But, some big games have unfolded in the last few days, and I think change is in order.  So, therefore, here are my new projections on the field of the NCAA tournament, by conference. Underlined teams are in, by my predictions.

Predicting the Field of 65

History and tradition will be on Kentucky's side to put pressure on them to get em in the tournament.  I think Duke will win it all.

Finish the season and tourney good and your in with a couple bubble needing to lose. Umass could cause a problem and ST,JOE's .You had MEMPHIS on the ropes with 1 foot in the graveyard. Should of buried them then.

As a UK fan I guess I might be a bit biased, but to pick Mississippi over Kentucky at this point is ridiculous.  Ole Miss has had a horrible conference run, unable to even come close to a .500 record in SEC play.  Of the six you have going in, Kentucky has beat 4 of them.  They came withing 3 of beating UT @ UT, which isn't easy, especially with their big man out.  Right now UK has 10 conference wins, and a possibility to make it 12 before the end of the season.  I believe a 19-11 (with one tourney win and loss and winning out the rest of their schedule) and UK is in.  They are a tough team and fight with more heart than most other teams out there.

NEBRASKA?!?!?!?!?!? why would you put nebraska in over KSU or A&M. I know they beat both of them, but there is some work needed to be done here.

Couldn't agree more. Coach K's a beast who'll have his team ready to play anyone. Put that with the great freshmen we have, Greg Paulus, Demarcus Nelson and everyone else, wins over Marquette, Wisconsin, North Carolina and there's no way we could lose. I have us beating North Carolina for a third time in the Final Four and, what the heck I'll go with the SEC, Duke over Tenessee in the national championships. This is our time for Coach K to create a new dynasty for this freshman class.

I don't care about what teams did a month ago.  The committee only cares about what is happening now.  and nebraska is playing better than kstate, losers of 4 in a row, and texas a&m who just got pummelled by oklahoma.  kstate's only decent win was kansas at home.  they lost to missouri, i mean come on.  they don't deserve anything
