I have a goal for this year for all Royals Fans. I know that most of us are working class and may not be able to afford Season Tickets, however a single game isn't too bad. Let's get out there, expose our kids to a team that has a tons of potential, and bring back the Royal pride back to this city!!!

This Year Let's fill the stadium!!!

You have a worthy goal. The best way to fill the stadium is to put a team on the field that is competitive, has a chance to win and people want to see. Dayton Moore has the Royals heading that direction so far. The ringer is that the Royals are likely in the toughest division in baseball. Put a team out there that plays the game well and the fans will come. People want to root for the Royals.

This Year Let's fill the stadium!!!

I agree with you totally, but I have a belief that if we show support now and this year they will continue to build a winner. Yes we are in the toughest division in baseball but, I forsee some bad things for other teams on the horizon. First, I think we beat out Chicago, they are old and keep doing really ignorant moves that don't make their team any better. Then there is Minnesota, wow if Santana is dealt they are done, if not they have to have another season like they did in '06 where their bats are on fire. They are missing one of the better if not the best defensive CF's in the game. Liriano is a question mark. And beyond that I can't stop laughing everytime I hear the name Boof Bonser!!!! Then there is the the Tigers, well if half their team doesn't end up at some point getting suspended for Steroids, they are a team that scares people, however, I think they are beatable, the question is will they lose enough to put us with them this year? Probably Not. Then, the Indians solid young team fairly talented at all positions, but can C.C. stay off the D.L. He is probably one of the few "Fat" or "Robust" players in the league that has stayed relatively healthy. I am not overly scared of anyone else in their rotation. Can we compete, yes I would say that more than 90% of the games this year we will be in the game into the late innings. The question is do we close the deal. Do we get key hits when we need them. Do we beat ourselves. I think if we do all the right little things, and do them often we have a outside, yes and a long shot of competeing this year in this division. I think Trey Hillman is the man for us to cross our T's and dot our I's.
