Hate the Team You Love?
Also, does TLR get along with anyone. He told Ozzie Smith he wasn't welcome in the stadium as long as he was manager, he drove away fan favorite Scott Rolen, and now he is "feuding" with top prospect Colby Rasmus. Can't he grow up, he's 63 now, show some maturity. I understand that Rolen isn't exactly the biggest people person, and Rasmus is only 20 and the next big thing, but seriously, I've got friends in high school that act more mature than him. If I hadn't been born a Cardinals fan, I would hate the Cardinals, and probably like the Cubs. But I was born a St. Louis boy, and I shall always love my St. Louis teams.

Hate the Team You Love? I feel your pain. I haven't allowed myself to get fully emmersed into baseball yet this year. I'm still a little sore about how management and the front office approached things after we won the series. It was like " We won a series so we can sit stagnant and suck for a decade now, the fans won't mind." |

Hate the Team You Love?John Mozelak(prolly spelt wrong) looks like he could do some good, and Tony's wife told him she would file for divorce if he didn't retire when he was 65, so only 2 more seasons of him. Hopefully we won't sign another vet loning manager like Tony then. |

Hate the Team You Love?Man, I wanted to finish studying but I have to comment after reading that. Great Blog first of all. I didn't hate most of the player you do, but I can say it is easy share a lot of your opions on TLR. I have always been criitical on his relationship with Ozzie and with what we are seeing now, it makes me even more ready to move on. I never understood the 2 year contract anyway. As far as Rolen, I have always liked him, but I definitely lost some respect after his trade demands. |
