Bob Dylan

Posted on: January 16, 2008 10:34 pm

Seeing as a lot of the people on my favs list are from the Song Game and Song Game 2 threads, a lot of you probably know that Bob Dylan is my favorite artist of all time.  It is my belief that when history looks back on the Twentieth Century, Bob Dylan and Pablo Picasso will be regarded as the two most influential artists of the century.  How's that for a contoversial statement?

On a side note, my motto, "Money doesn't talk, it swears" is a line from a Dylan song, anyone care to venture a guess as to which song it's from?

Bob Dylan

I'm with you on the Dylan, but let's give him a chance in the 21st Century too. This blog is going to be good.

Bob Dylan

I have a lot of favorite Dylan lines, but this one pops into my head right now, "In that last hour of need, we entirely agreed, sacrifice was the code of the road..."

Its Alright Ma (I'm only bleeding) !!!  One of my Dylan favs also. Just had Before the Flood on awhile ago! Words to live by fo sho!

A question in your nerves is lit
Yet you know there is no answer fit to satisfy
Insure you not to quit
To keep it in your mind and not fergit
That it is not he or she or them or it
That you belong to.

Although the masters make the rules
For the wise men and the fools
I got nothing, ma, to live up to.
