Video notes for Pitching Planner

Posted on: May 7, 2008 5:45 pm

-- Rich Harden returning Sunday ... Chad Gaudin to the bullpen
-- Gavin Floyd red hot ... is this guy for real? Yeah, he is.
-- Edinson Volquez is, too. Who do you like better Cueto or Volquez?
-- Sidney Ponson, too? Is he for real? Um, not really. High-risk for AL-only leagues still.
-- Bronson Arroyo struggling. What are the Reds to do? Homer Bailey?
-- Dodgers going without a No. 5 starter whenever possible? Jason Schmidt or Clayton Kershaw a candidate? Sure, around June 1.
-- Joe Borowski will return as the closer.
-- Eric Gagne struggling. How long can they stick with him?

quicky question

You have Adenhart as a potential sleeper for next week, but what does the looming return of Lackey to the LAA rotation mean for young Nick?

Video notes for Pitching Planner

Right, I was going to mention that. It looks like Adenhart won't make that second start if Lackey is ready to return over next weekend.

I put him on there to talk about his slow start and how he likely won't be a two-start pitcher. Thanks for the question, it was a good one and shows you're paying attention.
