With the Warriors dominating the league on the court, the biggest story off it remains the future of LeBron James -- who has done little to squash conversation about his future beyond 2017-18 in Cleveland.
In the past week, he reportedly told Cleveland management that he won't consider waiving his no-trade clause to leave the Cavs before the end of 2017-18.
But after a quick exit against Golden State in the finals, and a relatively uninspiring offseason for Cleveland that now includes Kyrie Irving asking for a trade, there's still plenty of speculation that James might opt out of his contract next summer to explore free agency with a star-studded class that could include Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony among others.

Odds for James' future have shifted over the past couple months with the Lakers at one point becoming a clear-cut favorite according to one sportsbook, but updated odds for where James will be to start the 2018 season from BetOnline.AG put the Cavs on top, albeit by a small margin:

The Celtics, Timberwolves and 76ers -- teams with some of the best young cores -- have also emerged as viable options, accoring to the odds. While the Rockets and the Spurs, franchises in great position to challenge the Warriors if James joined them, also rank high on the list.
