There's been no shortage of Colin Kaepernick commentary and discussion this offseason as the free agent quarterback continues to be without an NFL home.

Training camps open in less than two weeks, and there's still no indication Kaepernick will be in one when they do.
But while Kaepernick is a complicated figure for NFL teams to deal with, there's one universal goal in the NFL -- winning.
Kaepernick, at the very least, provides starting experience and athleticism. Though he regressed at the end of his tenure in San Francisco and struggled to keep Blaine Gabbert off the field, Kap has a decent TD-to-INT ratio (72-to-30) and over 12,000 career passing yards.
If a team feels Kaepernick can help them at any point in 2017, there's a decent shot he'll at least make it on a roster and see the field.
BookMaker.eu, the market-setting offshore sportsbook, released odds this week on whether Kaepernick will play a down this coming season:
Yes +110 (Wager $100 to gain $110)
No -140 (Wager $140 to gain $100)
The pick: Quarterback depth across the league can thin out quickly, and options are limited.

But even if a team does add Kapernick, it'd likely be as an insurance policy, meaning he wouldn't be thrown on the field immediately, or possibly at all. And there's also the chance he won't hook on anywhere.
Lay the -140 against Kaepernick playing a down in 2017.
