The lowest-seeded team to make the 2017 NCAA Tournament Final Four, the No. 7 South Carolina Gamecocks face top-seeded Gonzaga on Saturday night.
South Carolina is the long-shot to win the NCAA Tournament at 8/1. And while those might seem like low odds, the Gamecocks were fetching 75/1 before the Sweet Sixteen began.

After simulating the Final Four 10,000 times, SportsLine has South Carolina advancing to the national championship game 23.35 percent of the time and winning it all 6.47 percent of the time.
Those are the lowest percentages of any team left, but the Gamecocks have proven doubters wrong time and time again this year.

South Carolina opened as a 6.5-point underdog against Gonzaga in the 2017 Final Four, with an Over-Under of 138. That imputes a score of 72.25-65.75 Gonzaga.

South Carolina pasted Marquette by 20 points in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in a game that many thought Marquette would win outright.
In the round of 32, the Gamecocks delivered one of the biggest upsets of the Tournament by defeating Duke, a team many had penciled in to win it all.
South Carolina stomped Butler by 20 in the Sweet Sixteen before beating SEC rival Florida by seven to make the Final Four. The closest call they've had is seven points.
On Wednesday, the line was holding at Gonzaga -6.5. SportsLine projected a score of 74-65 Gonzaga, meaning we'd take Gonzaga to cover. That said, South Carolina has overcome long odds throughout the NCAA Tournament, and the 2017 Final Four will be no exception.
