Tulsa (5-0, 2-0 C-USA) is the only one of 15 unbeaten programs not currently ranked in either Top 25 poll, but head coach Todd Graham said he isn't worried about the snub.

"If we keep winning, that will take care of itself," he told the Tulsa World. "We're just focused on trying to keep our kids grounded and being prepared because each week will become more intense. Each week, it's going to become more of a dialogue and more of a distraction."

Up next for the high-powered Golden Hurricane offense is struggling SMU (1-5, 0-3), which has allowed 41.3 points and 479.3 yards of total offense per game. Tulsa leads the nation in scoring (56.4) and total offense (596.0).

Tulsa has not won in Dallas since 1991, however, and Graham knows that his team has a big target on its back in conference competition.

"Our focus is just beating SMU," he said. "If you don't win, it doesn't matter. All this speculation doesn't matter. The plan is to stay focused on the next game."
