THE GOOD NEWS
John Dunne is trying to get it done at a school that has basketball tradition but doesn't have a major fan base or a quality building. The Peacocks did make it to the MAAC title game two years ago, so it CAN be done. Young players like Wesley Jenkins, Darrell Lampley and Ryan Bacon have ability.

THE BAD NEWS
The veteran leadership is gone and even though Todd Sowell and Raul Orta couldn't produce a lot of wins the past two seasons, their leadership will be missed.

KEY RETURNEES
G Wesley Jenkins fired home 27 points -- all on 3-pointers -- in a loss to Boston University and has the talent to be a star. Gs Darrell Lampley and Nick Leon were 3-4 on the team in scoring, while Fs Ryan Bacon and Akeem Gooding have ability.

ROSTER REPORT

--F Todd Sowell finished second in the conference in rebounding and third in blocked shots.

--G Wesley Jenkins was second in the MAAC in 3-pointers, eighth in 3-point percentage and ninth in steals.

--F Ryan Bacon was seventh in the league in blocked shots.

--G Nick Leon led the league in free-throw percentage, at 89 percent.
