FINAL RECORD
19-13, 8-10, fourth in Sun Belt West.

WHAT WENT RIGHT
Despite their third coach in three seasons, the Privateers remained competitive throughout the season and pulled off some impressive road wins over N.C. State, Colorado, Tulane, North Texas, Middle Tennessee and UALR.

WHAT WENT WRONG
For all the Privateers did right on the road, they finished only 8-7 at home, 4-6 in conference home games. Their lack of depth finally caught up to them when they lost four of their last six games.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"I'm really proud of these guys. They put up a winning effort, a championship effort against the best team in the league." -- UNO coach Joe Pasternack, after the Privateers ended the season with an 81-77 loss at top-seeded South Alabama in the second round of the Sun Belt tournament.

I just set up a new college baseball forum a couple of days ago and I'm trying to get the word spread out. Should be fun once the season gets going.
