WHAT WENT RIGHT
Clemson bounced back from a pair of overtime losses to North Carolina in the regular season and won its most conference games since the 1989-90 Tigers went 10-4. It was their first winning ACC ledger since 1996-97, when they were 9-7. The Tigers followed that with two victories in the ACC tournament, including one over Duke in the semifinals that put them in the title game for only the second time in their history.

WHAT WENT WRONG
The Tigers struggled from the free-throw line all year long, shooting only 62.3 percent for the season. It was costly in some close losses, including the NCAA tourney opener when they lost by six points to Villanova while going 14 of 23 to 'Nova's 24 of 29 performance.
