THE GOOD NEWS
There are plenty of reasons to look forward to next season. Coach Dennis Wolff's young squad turned the corner in the second half. All five starters and every key reserve are expected to return.

THE BAD NEWS
Since a banner 20-9 season, the Terriers have suffered through consecutive losing seasons. They were picked to win the America East but finished in the middle of the pack.

KEY RETURNEES
Sophomore guard Corey Lowe was second in the conference in scoring, averaging 18.1 points. But Lowe is just one of the talented players the Terriers have returning. John Holland, Carlos Strong, Scott Brittain and Tyler Morris give the Terriers a strong nucleus for next year.

ROSTER REPORT

--After missing three consecutive games in February, freshman guard Carlos Strong finished the season on a high note. Strong delivered 17 tough points off the bench in Boston's overtime win over Albany in the conference tournament. He scored in double figures in four of his last five games.

--Freshman John Holland tied for 18th in the conference in scoring (11.4).

Boston University looked bad January 12 as they took on Hartford and lost 66-57.  The Terriers shot 2 for 27 from 3-point range, committed 23 turnovers, and went scoreless for the first 5:16 of the second half.  Tyler Morris still does not look right.  I thought Boston U would win the America East this year.  They better hurry up and get going if they are going to do that.  ...(more)

I finally got to see the BU-Yale game from December 11, and it was probably the best the Terriers looked all season.  Corey Lowe had 35 points and Carlos Strong looked good as well.  They needed to bottle that game, but I guess they didn't.
