FINAL RECORD
21-11, 9-7, fourth in the Big 12.

WHAT WENT RIGHT
Baylor was difficult to defend, using firepower from five guards who were all capable of burning opponents from long range or beating them off the dribble. While the Bears' inside presence led to difficulty on the boards, F Kevin Rogers did his best to negate that disadvantage and was one of the most underrated players in the Big 12.

WHAT WENT WRONG
Too often Baylor seemed content to simply trade baskets with opponents. Sometimes that worked, particularly if the Bears connected from 3-point range. But their inability to get stops hurt in clutch situations and also created sizable deficits when the Bears weren't hitting shots. Underneath, the pressure on Rogers to produce was a burden on the 6-foot-9 junior.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"It wasn't the [NCAA Tournament] performance we wanted, but at the same time, this team has accomplished a tremendous amount this year. They've done a lot for Baylor and the community, and it's something they can be proud of the rest of their lives. This team picture is going to mean a lot to everybody for years to come." -- Baylor coach Scott Drew.
