UMBC secures first NCAA tourney bid with rout of Hartford
Darryl Proctor scored 23 points to help Maryland-Baltimore County earn its first trip to the NCAA tournament with an 82-65 victory over Hartford in the America East championship game on Saturday.

since i graduated and all i want to see is them at least make the conference tourney championship game on ESPN.  Is that so much to ask?  I think they've been division one now for 24 years and still not even a sniff.  pathetic.
