It's been a brutal season for Randy Edsall's UConn Huskies, who have allowed a ghastly 111 points over their previous two games. Still, there's reason for optimism against an East Carolina squad that is also 0-6 in conference play. While the Huskies are atrocious on defense, the Pirates are nearly as putrid on offense. Something's gotta give in this matchup of cellar dwellers and my projections tell me UConn's defense will keep this game close and cover the spread 62 percent of the time.
