Dino Babers runs an up-tempo, Air Raid offense that leads to a lot of points. It also leads to value on the Under as bettors expect games to be high-scoring. It's not a coincidence that in Babers' two seasons at Syracuse the Under has gone 18-5-1.

Dino Babers learned his offensive skills from Baylor's Art Briles. Babers loves to go uptempo and throws the ball more than 50 percent of the time. He also has senior Eric Dungey at the controls of his NASCAR offense. Dungey is a dual threat that will have no problem getting 'Cuse into the end zone versus a well-below-average Western Michigan defense. The Broncos also return quarterback Jon Wassink, who has 20 career starts, on an offense that has averaged 38 points per game over the past two seasons.

Credit to Western Michigan for opening against a Power Five opponent annually reaching back to 2005. However, the Broncos have not beaten one of ‘em straight-up since ’06. The public is showing much love for WMU by forcing the spread down from six, putting too much stock in the fact that much of the coaching staff came from Syracuse, That won’t help when the Orange unleash veteran QB Eric Dungey against a vulnerable secondary. Though the ‘Cuse went 4-8 outright last season, it covered in five of six away games.

In Dino Babers' first two seasons at Syracuse, the Orange have gotten off to solid starts but have wilted late in the season.
