ORANGE BOWL (Miami) -- It's rare for a team to have a true home-field advantage in a bowl game, but the Hurricanes will have just that when they face Wisconsin in the Orange Bowl. However, this doesn't compensate for the Hurricanes' major disadvantage on the playing field. Their defensive line might be able to hold Wisconsin's run game in check, but the Badgers are capable of throwing it over the top for big plays. It's tough to envision Miami recovering from its late-season collapse to make a game of this one.

Wisconsin’s poor schedule harmed the Badgers, while Miami’s issues with playing complete games finally caved at season’s end. Even with time off, I don’t see the Hurricanes' on-field issues changing.

ORANGE BOWL (Miami) -- Nobody does hype like Miami, and the Hurricanes will be amped up to play in a major bowl in front of the home crowd at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Travis Homer and the ground game will stay in the 'Canes comfort zone throughout, and the defense will force Badger quarterback Alex Hornibrook into a late mistake to not only preserve a cover, but an outright win for coach Mark Richt's crew.
