Tommy Tuberville’s job in Cincinnati could be in jeopardy after a 4-4 start that has included wins against soft opponents but losses against the capable ones. All of the losses have come by double figures, and the Bearcats were routed 34-13 at Temple last year. But I think they will play well Saturday as an underdog against a BYU team that winding down a brutal stretch of tough opponents. It seems each year Tuberville keeps his job because of one signature victory, and there’s a good chance he gets another one Saturday.

The Bearcats are coming off their bye and beat Miami the week before that. But the Cougars have put up 75 points in their last two games and my projections show them winning here by nearly two touchdowns. In my simulations, BYU is covering 61 percent of the time.
