Notre Dame appears to be in turmoil, and I can’t say I feel sympathy for coach Brian Kelly, whose habit of outwardly blaming players for the team’s failures is immature and grating. His defensive coordinator paid the price with his job after a home loss to Duke. But the Irish are in a good spot here against a defense-challenged Orange club that gave up 107 points combined to Louisville and South Florida. Notre Dame also benefits from this game taking place at MetLife Stadium instead of the Carrier Dome. Look for the Irish to roll in this one.
