Public sentiment is low on Georgia Tech following its collapse last season and a 26-7 home loss to Clemson last week in a prime-time game. The Jackets played respectable defense but were unable to get their one-dimensional offense going against the stout Tigers. They should be able to have success against a Hurricanes defense that lost their top tackler and sack leader from a year ago to suspensions but have yet to face an opponent capable of exploiting what might be soft middle. Miami should get its points too, but I like Tech to cover behind this strong key number.

The Hurricanes are off a bye, but the Yellow Jackets have extra rest too after playing last Thursday. Look for Georgia Tech to rebound from its embarrassing showing against Clemson and keep this one tight throughout. The home team has covered four of the past five meetings in this series.
