How can you not love Washington QB Jake Browning? Did you see him lay out an Arizona D-lineman last week, then downplay it because "the standards are so low" for blocking by a quarterback? He's accounted for 15 TDs and two INTs and will be the difference against a Stanford team playing its second straight tough road game. Christian McCaffrey will have a big game, but not the monster performance Stanford needs here.

This Pac-12 showdown will likely determine the North division’s representative in the conference title game, and the winner will be favored to take the crown. Washington survived a letdown spot and big-play offense from Arizona to win 35-28 in overtime, while Stanford overcame coach David Shaw’s notoriously conservative play-calling to beat UCLA in a game in which the Cardinal were outplayed most of the way. I think Washington, which had 512 yards of offense against Arizona, has the more varied offense and a big edge at quarterback in Jake Browning. The Huskies have the home-field edge and the better overall club.
