We've got two 3-0 teams and each has a lot of question marks. Georgia Tech comes off a 3-9 season, but has beaten Boston College and Vanderbilt already. The Jackets' triple option running attack has been good and QB Justin Thomas might be back into 2014 form. Clemson has looked sluggish offensively -- almost losing at home to Troy -- and the Tigers have only covered their rating twice in their past nine road games. The defense has been solid and has helped keep all three Clemson games Under. Look for a low-scoring, closer-than-expected game in front of an intense Atlanta crowd.
The Yellow Jackets look to be vastly improved this season now that QB Justin Thomas is healthy. Defensively, they are also much better. Clemson has staggered in last two games against FBS competition, but to the Tigers' credit, they haven't lost. QB Deshaun Watson is still one of the best players in the country. Clemson won't lose Thursday night, but they won't win by double digits either.
The Tigers have been very underwhelming offensively through their first three games, hurting the Heisman Trophy bid of quarterback Deshaun Watson. All three Clemson games have seen fewer than 60 points scored, and I project 50 points for Thursday's game at Georgia Tech. My simulations show the Under cashing 67 percent of the time.
