Rider started the MAAC at 7-1 however it lost its next five games to drop from 1st to 4th in the conference, but a two game winning streak has put it in a five-team tie for 2nd place. Now the top five teams in the conference get a bye in the first round of the conference tournament. Niagara is 5-9 in conference putting it in the bottom half. I have Rider power-rated 10 points higher than Niagara plus a home court of 3.5. Niagara lost by 20 at home earlier this year to Rider so it has revenge, but Rider wins by 11 or 12.
