The Horned Frogs are much improved under first-year coach Jamie Dixon, who returned to his alma mater to revive the long-dormant program. But they built the bulk of their glossy early record with wins over meager nonconference opponents. They have lost two of their last three, with the lone win coming barely against short-handed Oklahoma. Youth-laden Texas is a work in progress, but I still expect the Longhorns to reach the upper-tier of the Big 12, while the Frogs make their familiar visit to the cellar. TCU is overvalued here.
