Oklahoma has moved on without program icon Buddy Hield, who averaged 25 points last year. The Sooners also lost versatile guard Isaiah Cousins and rugged forward Ryan Spangler from last year’s Final Four team. But they have quietly put together a strong start, led by senior guard Jordan Woodward and a supporting cast that goes 10 deep. Wichita State also looks solid despite losing program stalwarts Ron Baker and Fred VanVleet. But the Shockers have been a bit overvalued in the market thus far, and I’ll take Oklahoma in what probably should be a pick’em.
